Dr. Goshtasbi
Dr. Goshtasbi and his staff are residents of San Diego, CA. They are seasoned dental professionals who take pride in bringing you gentle and friendly dentistry. Dr. G (as he is known) lives with his wonderful wife Katy and their two dogs in Scripps Ranch, California.
Dr. G is a native San Diegan who graduated from Torrey Pines High School and received his undergraduate degree in biology from San Diego State University. He comes from a family of dentists and physicians, including his father, sister and all his cousins. Watching his sister in dental school inspired him to become a dentist himself. He went on to pursue this lifelong dream of becoming a dentist and obtained his Doctor of Dental Degree from New York University, where he excelled in clinical dentistry.
Dr. G spends a considerable amount of his free time continuing his education in dentistry. His goal is to provide optimum care for his patients in the most relaxing setting. He genuinely cares for his patients and it shows. He is always looking at technology that will bring comfort to his patients. When Dr. G. introduces new techniques or technology. He only introduces those advances that offer substantial improvements in quality of care or experience. Dr. G takes pride in the products that he uses in his office. Every product used on his patients has been thoroughly researched and even tried by him.
If you were to ask Dr. G what he is about, he would say that he wants what is best for his patients. He sees himself as someone who can relate to his patients. He prides himself on being economically friendly, drives a Hybrid, and supports alternate energy. Dr. G has many hobbies many of which involve creating artistic things with his hands. Some of his hobbies include carving fishing lures from wood, making things such as exotic bowls and pouring resins to encapsulate his pieces of art. Dr. G. can fix just about anything and he loves his art, but he is most passionate about his art of dentistry.

Melanie
Melanie has been in the dental field for 13 years starting her career as an assistant, and working her way to the front. Her passion for Dentistry started at 5 years old. She loves connecting with each and every patient.
Her favorite hobbies include being a Baseball Mom, going to Padres games, snacking, and going to Disney with her family.

Katy
Katy Goshtasbi is Dr. Goshtasbi’s wife. They live in Scripps Ranch where she also runs her consulting business. Katy helped set up the dental office and runs the front office as needed. She is a dental consultant so she is well familiar with how a dental office runs. Katy has bachelor degree in Finance and a law degree. Katy serves on three charitable boards of directors. In her spare time she loves to swim, meditate, and participates in community service.
She is also a yoga instructor and has a weakness for dark chocolate. Please stop by to meet and say hi to Katy and the rest of the team.
