Just about every day I have a mother asking me questions like when they should expect a child to get their teeth, or when should their adult counter parts erupts.
1. Upper Teeth
- front two 8-12 months
- laterals (teeth adjacent to front tooth) 9-13 months
- k9’s 16-22 months
- 1st baby molar 13-19 months
- 2nd baby molar 25-33 months
2. Lower Teeth
- front two 6-10 months
- laterals 10-16 months
- k9’s 16-22 months
- 1st baby molar 14-18 months
- 2nd baby molar 23-31 months
Adult tooth eruption
1. Upper teeth
- front two 7-8 years
- laterals 8-9 years
- K9’s 11-12 years
- 1st premolars 10-11 years
- 2nd premolars 12-13 years
- wisdom teeth 17-18 years
2. lower teeth
- front teeth 6-7 years
- laterals 7-8 years
- K9’s 9-10 years
- 1st premolars 10-12 years
- 2nd premolars 11-12 years
- 1st molars 6-7 years
- 2nd molars 11-13 years
- widom teeth
